Granveliero
Granveliero offers the pleasure of staying in a historic residence from the early 1900s located in the historic center of Trapani. The conservative restoration has highlighted the painted ceilings, tiled floors, the Trapanese stone staircase, and the Favignana tuff walls.
The furniture has been designed to create an antique combination by integrating Liberty-style furniture, decorative elements of Sicilian carts, fabric bed heads, wood, brass, naval objects, modern wardrobes, and late 1800s cabinets that have been expertly restored, all resting on comfortable memory foam mattresses. Bathrooms have stone sinks and wireless internet is available.
The shared sea-view terrace on the top floor allows guests to relax and admire the sunsets or sunbathe comfortably on sun loungers and sofas.
Breakfast is served on the ground floor. Guests can enjoy sweet foods (local pastries, homemade cakes, almond biscuits) and savoury foods (olives, local meats and cheeses), yogurt, seasonal fruit, and cereals every day. It will be a pleasure to suggest information about places to visit and how to get there, based on your tastes and desires, every day.
At GranVeliero, we aim to provide not just a warm welcome, but also the chance to take part in themed sensory workshops organized on our terrace. You can participate in sensory tastings of local products, wines and oils, and meet local artisans. Additionally, we also offer Sicilian cooking classes for our guests.

Hello everyone:) Thank you for taking the time to read our story. My name is Giovanni, and after spending 6 years away from my home in Sicily for studies and work experience, I returned to Trapani thanks to my family and faith in our resources. The Granveliero is the result of our passion for work, in enhancing a structure that was in a state of decay, highlighting its authenticity. We started with the charm of the palace with its tiles, decorated ceilings, Trapanese-style staircase, and then enhanced the rooms with authentic Sicilian elements (parts of a Sicilian cart, naval elements, liberty furniture) and modern services. We would be delighted to host you at the Granveliero and let you experience the authentic and different Sicily.
The Granveliero is located in the quietest area of the historic center, 100 meters from the Porta Botteghelle beach and 200 meters from the pedestrian area of Corso Vittorio Emanuele. In a 10-minute walk, you can reach the port to take hydrofoils or the bus stop to the airports, Erice, San Vito lo Capo, and Palermo. For those arriving by car, we recommend parking on Via Cristoforo Colombo, 50 meters from the Granveliero, with parking costing 10 cents per hour.
